Early Childhood Educator

Woodlands Childcare Inc. seeks to fill a full time ECE II position. Woodlands Childcare Inc. operates an infant, pre-school and school age before and after program at Woodlands Elementary School as well as a school age before and after program at Warren Elementary School.

We are looking for a positive, energetic, and caring individual with strong knowledge of child development and the ability to adapt to changing environments. We offer a competitive wage, paid sick days, benefits and  professional development opportunities.

Eligible candidates need:

- a Manitoba Early Learning & Child Care ECE II classification.

- strong verbal and written communication skills - and the ability to interact positively with children, families, co-workers and other professionals and community members.

- a sense of humor, be creative, flexible, nurturing,

- strong observational skills and be able to plan activities which promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of preschool and school age children.

- Emergency First Aid and CPR certification

- Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry
