| Description | This CCA position is working in our PreSchool and School Age Program. The position is 8 hours a day, full time. Sugar n Spice has a strong team of educators. We are located in Riverbend School. This position requires the CCA to recognize the uniqueness and interests of all children and assist them daily to achieve their goals. You will be responsible to plan and prepare activities and experiences daily for the children. You will be communicating professionally with colleagues, families and outside agencies. This position requires the CCA to act as a positive role model and reflect the core values of SNS. | Eligible Candidates |
-Must be a minimum of 18 years old with a valid First Aid/CPR. -A clear criminal record check and child abuse registry. -Experience working in a childcare centre an asset. -Understanding of child development and ability to respond to individual/unique needs. -excellent communication skills -40 hour course or equivalent required -ability to work independently and part as a team. -strong verbal skills -effective conflict resolution and problem solving skills -professional work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality -enthusiastic, positive and fun
