| Description | Working with a strong team including the program Supervisor, co-workers, family and the Assistant Director. This program consists of 16 children aged 2-5 years Provide a safe, caring and educational environment Observe and anticipate children’s triggers and offer tools to help regulate (e.g. deep breathing techniques, fidget gadgets, offering safe places, sensory exploration, etc.) The program is looking for an individual who is fun, energetic and positive and can be there for the children and offer a safe place for them to express their feelings and emotions. The eligible candidate must be able to follow the goals and philosophy of our centre. Some of the responsibilities are diapering, assisting children in the bathroom, providing lunch, snacks, outdoor play, activities, group activities such as circle time, relationship with family and meeting the daily needs of the children. The chosen candidate must be a team player, build positive relationships with families and work in a group setting as well as independently. Other duties as assigned |

Familiarity with emergent curriculum/play-based approach Familiarity with Circle of Security philosophy an asset but not required Ability to take initiative and think outside the box Eligible candidates must obtain/provide: ECE II classification First Aid/CPR Current Criminal/Child Abuse Check Centre-provided Circle of Security training |
