| Description | Garden Grove Child Care is hiring! We are seeking an experienced full time Child Care Assistant to work in our Preschool/School Age Program site! This position is mainly focused within our Preschool group but there are opportunities to work with School Age children as well. Employment to begin August 2024. We are paid for 40 hrs per week (we work both straight and split shifts), GGCC offers competitive wages, professional development opportunities, a benefits package, pension plan and more! Applicants should have the following: *The willingness to have fun and build relationships with children and families! *The ability to work as part of a cooperative team! *Patience, laughter, and a positive attitude! *The ability to observe & reflect upon the children in our care in order to provide play opportunities which will create, inspire, and engage! *Experience with preschool & and school-age children considered an asset. *Circle of Security training considered an asset. *Applicants require a current Criminal record check including vulnerable sectors, Child Abuse registry check, and current First Aid and CPR.
