| Description | EMU School Age Centre Inc is hiring a Child Care Assistant on a part time basis in an inclusion support position. The eligible candidate must be available Monday through Friday, 2:30-5:30pm on school days and 8:30am – 5:30pm on school in-services and breaks. This is a term position until June 30, 2023. We are located in École Margaret-Underhill in Transcona. EMU School Age Centre offers benefits, centre matched pension, paid planning time, paid sick days and MCCA membership. |

Eligible candidates must have/be: - Good written and verbal communication skills - Reliable, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible - Display a high level of professionalism - Strong, positive behaviour management skills - Nurturing, calm, & caring - The ability to work well independently as well as part of a team - The ability to work in partnership with families A current First aid and CPR certificate level C is considered an asset All successful candidates will be required to obtain: - CCA classification from province of Manitoba - Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Search - Child Abuse Registry Check - level C first aid and CPR. |
