| Description | Crestview Park Day Nursery is looking for a FULLTIME CCA to join our team. We have three programs in the St. James Assiniboine area. Winnipeg Mennonite Early Learning Centre and Crestview Park Day Nursery which has a preschool and toddler program. The position is fulltime, in our Winnipeg Mennonite Early Learning site. The successful applicant will work with along side our educators. CCA’s are an important part of our team, working side by side with our trained ECE’s to provide a program that is reflective of the interests of 32 children aged ranging in age from 2 – 5 years. The successful applicant may also have opportunity to spend some time in our larger site. Here there are more educators, two programs and 70 children. CPDN is very supportive of the workplace program at RRC and have had several of our CCAs successfully complete the program. We would consider having employees that are currently enrolled in the program or would like to consider this option in the future. |

Suitable candidates for the position should possess or be willing to obtain: - Child Care Assistant Certificate - Emergency First Aid and CPR C certificate - Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search - Child Abuse Registry Check - 40 hours Early Childhood Education training (RRC or equivalent) within the first year of employment.. - Experience is an asset |
