Liability insurance: The limit of coverage is $5,000,000, with a base limit of $100,000 on contents. Additional contents coverage is available upon request. An MCCA member centre can sign up for insurance as soon as licensing is underway, and space has been secured or equipment acquired.
Directors and Officers Liability Insurance: Provides the board of directors with a legal defense and possible compensatory awards to a claimant if a suit for a wrongful act is filed against board members, centre, or employees. Learn more:

Canada Life Group Benefits Plan for Employees: With close to 1000 members in our group benefits plan, the centre is able to experience lower rates than with a small group plan. The group benefits plan includes life insurance, short and long term disability, extended health, dental, and vision care, as well as an employee assistance program. It is cost shared between the employer and the employee, and the centre can choose from 3 options. There is a retiree plan available for individual or family child care members who have been enrolled in the Canada Life group benefits plan for two prior years.
