MCCA promotes the benefits of quality early learning and child care as a service and a profession to senior government and elected officials at all levels, stakeholders, and the general public.

MCCA is  well recognized as the voice of early learning and child care in Manitoba.  We meet regularly with government representatives to discuss needs, priorities, and ideas; we write  letters and briefing papers; are active on many committees, and attend events along with other groups that share an interest in the wellbeing of children and families.    We are a resource for information about early learning and child care services in Manitoba and are regularly contacted by the media, the public, and other interested persons.

Our recommendations to governments have helped shape legislation, regulations, and the development of quality, affordable early learning and child care services in Manitoba.
