- Financial Oversight 101 – Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Budget
- HR Oversight 101 – Recruitment, Performance Management, Succession Planning
- Legal Oversight 101 – Fiduciary Care/Duty of Care, By-laws versus Board Policies, Child Care Centre Requirements

MCCA has partnered with People FirstHR Services to develop a free customizable Best Practices Board Orientation Manual which is available to all licensed not-for-profit early learning and child care facilities in Manitoba. In addition to the Manual, facilities will receive implementation support from an HR Specialist also at no additional cost. Funding is being provided under the Canada-Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care Agreement.
