Created 4 Me is currently seeking ( 3) fun, outgoing, innovative, ambitious, knowledgeable leaders to take on a Supervisor position at both our centre sites. (264 A Hoddinott Rd and 2511 McGregor Farm Rd)- when open
This is full-time and permanent position in which you are reporting to the centre Executive Director and or the Assistant Director.
The ideal candidate will be passionate in child care and knowledgeable to lead a team in best practices, while implementing a nature based and inspired program.
The position will allow you to be part of the growth of Created 4 Me as we expand into our community with 74 new child care spaces. We are looking for candidates with drive and passion who are motived in the growth and roots of child care.
The Ideal Candidate Is
- Classification ECE II or ECE III
- First Aid/CPR certification
- have at least 3 years experience as an ECE
- knowledgeable in computer skills
- able to plan schedules and revise as needed
- responsible to take sick calls and revise schedule as needed
- able to listen and respond to staff and family concerns effectively
- have experience with children ages 12 weeks – 6 years
- ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- maintain a level of energy necessary to carry a complex and demanding workload
- willing to work on the floor
- ensures compliance with policies and procedures
- oversees child care staff and activities
- assist the Executive Director and or Assistant Director as needed
- be responsible for all aspects of the childcare program including staffing
- must manage an organized, safe, healthy and kind environment
- must have knowledge of child development
- must have knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act
- must be able to work 6:30AM to 5:30PM and ability to work flexible hours based on the needs of the Centre
- able to lead and support a team with respect
- good communication skills (oral and written)
- good interpersonal skills
- practice and role model safe fire evacuation process and emergency procedures
