Full Description
We are looking for 3+ candidates to join our summer team and fill multiple positions, across our multiple sites.
We are in need of 2 Summer Students, but also interested in ECEII who are looking to fill up there summer while on break from their school positions.
This will be a summer (8-9 week) position with the opportunity to carry on with our School Age Before & After program through out the 2026/27 school year.
The Ideal Candidate Is
What We're Looking For:
- Role models who love being outside despite the weather, we spend the majority of the summer outdoors and take part in a 2 WEEK Outdoor Challenge where we spend the entire time at Assiniboine Park.
- Energetic: our children are full of energy and always on the go with soccer, races and any sport we throw at them, always willing to learn.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with other peoples children in a group setting (preferred)
Summer Student Criteria (has or be willing to receive)
- Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sectors) and Child Abuse Registry Check (within the last 3 months)
- Current First Aid and CPR -Level C
- CCA Certificate
- Commit to Kids Training and Accessibility workshops
Candidates must also meet the following Canada Summer Jobs Criteria:
- between 18 and 30 years old at the start of their job
- a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the job and
- legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
- this includes having a valid Social Insurance Number (S.I.N.) at the start of their job
