Full Description
St. Germain Daycare is looking for a substitute to work at the centre when staff are away, or inservice days. We create our schedule 2 weeks in advance giving notice of hours beforehand.
The candidate would work with school age or preschool children depending on the shift.
Candidate would supervise children and participate in all aspects of the daily program including outdoor play, school transition, meal/snack times, circle activities, and opening or closing shift cleaning duties.
There is a possibility of a part time set schedule opening up. Additional hours would continue to be offered.
The Ideal Candidate Is
- Willing to obtain or already has a Child care assistant certificate
- Have taken or willing to take the 40 hour course
- Has valid First aid/CPR certificate or willing to recertify
- Required to obtain criminal record checks/child abuse registry checks
- Works well with others
- Flexible
- Strong communication skills
- Can problem solve
- Is reliable
