Early Childhood Educator III with at least one year of experience in working with children in a childcare setting, although preference will be given to those applicants with three or more years of experience. Consideration may be given to ECE II who are in process or considering furthering their training in the ECE III program.

Start Date: August 1, 2025

The Director's responsibilities include the following:

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of ELCC licensing regulations and best practices to ensure quality and compliance.
• Managing the recruitment, hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluation of staff in collaboration with the Stepping Stones Management Committee.
• Ability to create, implement, and evaluate educational programs and curricula.
• Collaborating effectively within the organizational framework of Prairie Alliance Church and Westpark School.

Skills and Abilities: 

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and leadership capabilities.
• Brings a positive mindset, and contributes as such collaboratively to the learning community.
• Experience working with emergent curriculum, inclusion and diversity, and neurodivergent students would be an asset.

Compensation is based on the level of education and experience of the successful candidate and in accordance with the MCCA scale.
