Full Description
We are hiring for the following split shift position:
Monday-Friday: 7:00am-9:00am AND 3:15pm-6:00pm (must be available for all shifts). Full time hours available on inservice days, winter break, and spring break. This position will NOT lead to a full-time position.
Dawn and Dusk Before and After School Program is a 100-space licensed child care centre looking for a ECE to join our team. We are located in John de Graff School, in North Kildonan.

The Ideal Candidate Is
The candidate will have a Province of Manitoba ECE II Certificate.
They will have knowledge of child development, be responsible, reliable, and patient. They are quick thinking, creative, and have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). They enjoy spending active time outdoors, and thrive in a fast paced work environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- have clear child abuse registry check and a clear criminal record w/ vulnerable persons
- have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- have the 40hr course requirement (or equivalent)
- have Commit to Kids Training (or willing to obtain)
- have Circle of Security Training (or willing to obtain)
- have the ability to inspire children and fellow educators with their passion for early childhood education
- have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- be committed to continuous learning
2-3 years of working experience in the Child Care Field is an asset.
