Who We Are
Riverview Ashland Child Care Centre Inc. is a non-profit, charitable, licensed early learning and child care centre that values respect, teamwork, and high-quality programming. Child care is a cornerstone of our Riverview Community, and our team plays an essential role in supporting families every day. If you thrive in a team environment and love making a difference, we’d be happy to have you join us. Our hours of operation are 7:15- 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, year round. We have 45 School Age, 16 Preschool and 12 Forest Nursery School spaces for children ages 3 to 12 years of age.

The Ideal Candidate Is
What You’ll Do
Support educators in implementing daily activities and routines
Engage with children through play, conversation, and exploration
Encourage independence and positive social interactions
Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of materials
Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
Follow all centre policies and licensing regulations
Experience the outdoors with curiosity and wonder
Who We’re Looking For:
Completion of the 40-hour CCA course in Manitoba (or willingness to complete within 12 months of hire)
Child Care Assistant Certificate for the Province of Manitoba
Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) and Child Abuse Registry Check
Positive, caring attitude and a love for working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, professional, and adaptable. Willingness to learn and grow within the child care field
