Full Description
Governor Semple Children's Place is looking for part time staff to join our team. This position is a part time positions ideal for someone looking for part time work, university students, someone looking to get into the Early Learning field. We are looking for an educator to work approximately 20 hours a week with possibilities of longer shifts on in-service days and school breaks. Hours we are hiring for are between, 8:00am-9:30am and/or 300-530pm. In this position you will be working with ECE's and CCA's to help give the children great experiences, through play, field trips, art, science, outdoor play, and creativity
You will be expected to interact with the children, light house keeping, monitoring safety, planning and supporting fun activities
The Ideal Candidate Is
The ideal candidate will:
- be at least 18 years of age
- Have or willing to obtain a recent (within 3 months)Criminal record check, child abuse check, their first aid/cpr training
- Looking for part time hours between the hours of 6:45am-9:30am and/or 3:00pm-5:30pm
- Enjoys engaging with children
- Takes direction from other team members
- Wants to have a great experience, supporting children's development, interests, learning, and playing outside
- Enjoys working with children ages 5- 12 years old
