We’re looking for an enthusiastic and caring Child Care Assistant to join our team and help create a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment where school-age children can learn, play, and thrive. In this part-time role, you’ll support children through meaningful activities, encourage positive relationships, and help create a space where every child feels safe, valued, and included.

What You’ll Do

• Support and participate in engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, teamwork, and fun
• Provide positive supervision and guidance to school-age children during play, recreational activities, and transitions
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and personal development by encouraging independence, confidence, and positive interactions
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels respected, supported, and a sense of belonging
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators through respectful communication and collaboration
• Encourage children to develop problem-solving, communication, cooperation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Work as part of a caring and supportive team committed to providing a positive and engaging child care experience
