Full Description
Carpathia Children's Centre Inc. is seeking a dedicated, reliable, committed Inclusion Support Worker for a 7 year old male.
He will be attending the local elementary school in September.
We require a person who can adjust the program to meet his needs.
Must have clear Criminal record and child abuse status, First Aid level C
Speak and write fluent English
Complete the commit to kids training
Meet the Ideal Candidate qualities
The Ideal Candidate Is
Has a working knowledge of all licensing Practices and regulations
Can Monitor and implement the Individual Program Plan to meet the child's goals
Can keep clearly written observation notes (English)to document progress and accomplishments
Can modify the program to fully involve the Child and their interests
Can communicate with the Family, Staff, Specialists to assist in the Child's development progress and enjoyment
Have experience with working with a child with Downs Syndrome - or willing to learn
Have the CCA 40 hour course or in process
Be able to bend, stand, sit, assist a child of 60lbs (With another staff)
This position is Monday to Friday 330 to 530 pm
In service days, school breaks, summer will be 8 hours daily with a paid lunch break
Wage to be demined by experience and 40 hour course
