Little Saints Learning Centres, with two main locations at 5 St. Vital Road and 15 St. Mark’s Place (both located in Old St. Vital), is currently seeking a qualified ISP Support Staff member. This position will be based at our St. Mark’s location. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience supporting individuals with ADHD.
We are seeking an experienced Child Care Assistant who meets ELCC licensing requirements in the Province of Manitoba. The successful candidate will demonstrate creativity and the ability to think innovatively to support individualized programming. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are essential for this role.
A little about our two main sites:
Our St. Vital site is licensed for 48 children (16 infant spaces and 32 preschool spaces). Our St. Mark’s location is licensed for 38 spaces (4 children under the age of two, 12 toddler spaces, and 22 preschool spaces).
Note: We offer a Summer School Age Program off-site for July and August only, for children ages 6 - 12 years of age.
- This career opportunity is paid at 30 hours a week, with a biweekly payroll.
- Potential for additional hours depending on the needs of the program. Please note that this is a term position until the end of August 2026.
- Employees must be available to work shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and must be willing to work at either location as needed.
Additional Qualifications and Training:
- Completion of Circle of Security Training, Commit to Kids Training, and Accessibility Training are also considered assets.

- Monitor and implement the Individual Program Plan (IPP) to support the child’s developmental goals
- Maintain clear, accurate, and well-written observation notes to document progress and achievements
- Adapt and modify programming to reflect the child’s interests and promote engagement
- Communicate effectively with family members, staff, and external specialists to support the child’s development and overall well-being
- Have experience supporting children with ADHD, or demonstrate a willingness to pursue relevant training and professional development
