Duties/Responsibilities
Works in collaboration with ECEs/therapists/families to provide inclusive care and programming for autistic child.
Support child to fully participate in all aspect of the program.
The Ideal Candidate Is
Skills and qualifications
- Experience working with young children/school age/ or children with additional support needs in a child care setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with adults/children
- Child Care Assistant Certification; or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR training (level C); or willing to obtain within 3 months of hiring
- 40-hour child development course recognized by ELCC
- Current Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check (dated within a 3 month period)
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
