Children Are People Too is hiring a full time ECE II. We currently hiring for our Queenston location

 

245 Queenston St – located in Queenston School. 18 spaces ages 3-5. 

                                                                                                          60 School-Age spaces

The Ideal Candidate Is

We are looking for an experienced ECE II to work in both our Preschool and School-Age program. The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Understanding of Emergent and play-based learning. 
  • Can effectively manage both school-age and preschool groups independently and as part of a team.
  • Has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills
  • Be available to work all hours of operation (7:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m.) 
  • Has experience assisting other staff as needed in a professional manner
  • Has experience implementing  age-appropriate programs
  •  Can build relationships with all families through positive interactions
  • Must have or be willing to take Commit to Kids
  • Circle of Security an asset
  • Has past experience in a School-Age setting
