FULL TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE: EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR II OR CHILD CARE ASSISTANT
If you’re looking for a place to hide behind others, cut corners, or “just get through the day for a paycheque”- This is not the place for you. We are an energetic, creative rural play based Early Childcare center that is committed to quality care- and that starts with the right people. We are looking for people who show up, step up, are creative, work well independently, but are still able to contribute and work well with a team that truly cares. Applicant must be able to physically move quickly around the center and playground when needed, as well as be able to get down and up from the floor and be able to pick up and carry children when needed.
Full Time Early Childhood Educator II or Child Care Assistant Positions
Qualifications:
-Early Childhood Education Classification Certificate
-Up-To-Date Standard First aid and CPR
-Up-To Date Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- At least 1-3 References preferred

Punctuality and reliability – We count on each other. Your consistency matters. We cannot safely keep ratios if you are not prepared to come in on time or not at all.
Strong work ethic – No room for laziness, avoidance, or “that’s not my job” attitudes.
Initiative- if you see something that needs to be attended to and you have the time and ability to do it please do it.
Integrity and honesty – We do not tolerate lying, gossip, or sneaky behavior. Transparency is essential, don’t be afraid to ask questions.
Team spirit – You step in, help out, and work together without hesitation.
Openness to feedback – Able to accept constructive criticism and grow from it.
Respect and empathy – For children, families, coworkers, and leadership.
Emotional maturity – Able to stay calm, thoughtful, and patient even under pressure.
Willingness to work in alignment with management – You don’t go around policies or leadership. You work with them, have conversations to understand the why for doing things.
Commitment to inclusion – Confidently supporting children with disabilities and diverse needs.
Sound understanding of child development – And the ability to put that knowledge into practice.
Cleanliness and organization – Maintaining a tidy, safe center inside and outside is part of your daily standard. All staff work together to keep the center and playground safe for all.
Can work with all ages- We are a mixed age group center, so you will have the opportunity to work with all ages from Infant to School age at some point throughout your employment at our center.
Further Training for CCA- CCA’s without their 40 hour course will need to complete it within the first year. CCA’s who have there 40 hour course will be encouraged to advance their training.
