Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Manage (and respond to) incoming and outgoing communications regarding CARE & RO programs and services including phone calls, emails and newsletters.
  • Oversee contract staff (group facilitators) to provide contracts and invoicing, schedule groups, and schedule and contract for training/professional development of contract staff
  • Ensure appropriate fit of contract staff with Childcare Centres requesting a COS group in consultation with CARE Coordinator.
  • Maintain and organize files, records and service delivery data to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Collect, organize, compile and present the data points for semi-annual reports and budget.
  • Manage work priorities and ensure deadlines are met 
  • Document processes and continuously strive to streamline systems for meeting service needs
  • Facilitate groups or workshops on occasion for Early Childhood Educators where expertise permits
  • Participate in staff meetings as required.
  • Work in partnership with the Administrative Resource Group to support the staff and overall administrative needs of the Family Therapy Services Program. (including reception coverage)

The salary range for this 70-hour bi-weekly position is $26.60 to 34.32 per hour, dependent upon education and/or experience. A full benefits package (which includes Health, Dental, and Long-Term Disability Benefits) is provided to all full-time, regular employees.

The Ideal Candidate Is

The successful Candidate will have:  

  • Post-secondary education/training (degree or diploma) in related fields (Business, Administration and Early Childhood Education) A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience and proficiency using computers including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, internet applications and the creation of data bases and reports.
  • Strong office administration practices including good time management and organization, accountability, accurate record keeping, and creative problem solving. 
  • The ability to be independently proactive and anticipatory
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the Early Childhood Education or non-profit sectors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and understanding of confidentiality.
