Look no further — Lovin’ N Learnin’ Daycare Inc., located in the heart of Southdale, is seeking a
passionate and energetic ECE ll to join our family-centered team!
Our licensed center is located in a welcoming church basement and serves 24 preschool
children in a warm, play-based environment.
About You
You are a dedicated educator with a love for guiding young learners and supporting a team. You
bring creativity, the ability to work as a team player, and a positive spirit — the kind that fills a room with fun and
sunshine!
We’re looking for someone who is:
● Available to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
● Passionate about the Early Childhood Education field and enjoys making a difference in
the lives of preschoolers
● A strong advocate for children, families, and the future of ECE
● Experienced in play-based and emergent curriculum
● Knowledgeable about ELCC Best Practices and committed to continuous improvement
in the field
● Trained in Circle of Security
● Ready for career growth and leadership development
● Skilled in team guidance, scheduling, and staff training
● Experienced as a ECE II (minimum of 2–5 years)
● Able to work along side 4–5 staff members during the school year and 6–7 during the summer
● Confident in supporting and giving constructive feedback and fostering a positive team environment
● Graceful and respectful in handling conflicts and communicating effectively
● Committed to building strong relationships with families and our church community
● Highly organized, able to multitask, and meet deadlines
● Comfortable working in a diverse environment with children, staff, and families
● Continually advancing knowledge of childcare through education, courses, and
workshops
Required Skills
● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
● Familiar with ELCC Best Practices
● Skilled in using Fastoche
● Experienced with ELCC Child Care Online

● Strong conflict resolution/communication skills (an asset)
● Physically able to lift up to 20 kg and participate in outdoor activities
Requirements (please include in your resume)
● Manitoba Child Care Program ECE II Classification
● Graduation from a recognized college or university program
● Commit to Kids Certification
● Circle of Security Certification
● Current Child First Aid and CPR Certificate (Level C)
● Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry (required)
