The Ideal Candidate Is
We are looking for a Team Lead who is confident and inspiring with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for early childhood education. You bring warmth, professionalism, and a high standard of customer service to every interaction, building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
What we are looking for:
- ECE II certification (Manitoba)
- Minimum 1-2 years of preschool experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Current First Aid & CPR Level C
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (within 3 months)
- Clear Child Abuse Registry Check (within 3 months)
- Commit to Kids certification
- Familiarity with Childcare Pro software
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Excellent written, and verbal communication skills, and customer service abilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- In-depth knowledge of child-centered curriculum approaches, including emergent curriculum, nature-based and Forest School programming, and loose parts and inquiry-based learning
- A commitment to inclusive practices and respect for diversity
- Strong knowledge of child development and inclusive, play-based practices
- Asset to have experience in developing support programs for children with additional needs
- Asset to have Circle of Security training
