Full-Time Early Childhood Educator (ECE II)

Location: Osborne Village | Type: Full-Time | Focus: Nature-Based & Emergent Curriculum

Are you an ECE II who is ready to "grab the bull by the horns" and lead by example? Splash Early Learning Centre is looking for a passionate, hands-on professional to join our vibrant team. The Role: Excellence in Action

As an ECE II at Splash, you aren’t just following a schedule—you are a pedagogical leader. You will:

  • Champion the Curriculum: Design and implement a nature-based, emergent curriculum that is challenging, holistic, and deeply inclusive.
  • Mentor & Model: Act as a hands-on role model, demonstrating best practices in child development and positive guidance.
  • Collaborate: Lead the daily operation and documentation of activities, ensuring they align with children's interests and developmental goals.

Your Qualifications:

  • ECE II Classification in Manitoba.
  • 2+ years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Completion of the Commit to kids program
  • Current First Aid Level C & AED.
  • Clear Criminal Record & Child Abuse Registry Checks (Safety first!).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills.

Bonus Points for:

  • Circle of Security training.
  • Experience with emergent play-based or land-based learning.
