  • Financial Stewardship: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in alignment with provincial requirements and Board approval.
  • People Leadership: Supervise, coach, and recruit staff while fostering an accountable and positive work culture.
  • Governance & Community: Maintain transparent communication with the Board and build strong relationships with families and community partners.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level III classification.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership in childcare or non-profit sectors.
  • Financial & Regulatory Experience: Demonstrated experience with budgeting, payroll, and Manitoba childcare regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Software Experience: Fastoche, Brightwheel, and QuickBooks is considered a strong asset.
  • Compliance: Valid First Aid/CPR Level C, clear Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks, and a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle.
