KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Governance

• Provide strategic leadership in line with Board direction and organizational priorities 
• Support governance through regular reporting, planning and communication 

Operations & Compliance

• Oversee daily operations of a multi-program childcare centre 
• Ensure compliance with Manitoba childcare regulations, licensing and funding requirements 
• Maintain high standards of safety, care and program delivery 

People & Culture

• Lead, mentor and support supervisors, educators and administrative staff  (50+ staff)
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive and respectful workplace environment 

Financial Management

• Develop and manage annual budgets 
• Oversee payroll, funding and financial reporting 
• Ensure strong financial controls and accountability 

Programs & Community

• Support high-quality, play-based programming across all age groups 
• Maintain strong relationships with families, community partners and stakeholders 
• Represent the organization within the early learning sector

Building & Property

• Research, prepare, and submit grant applications to support capital projects, facility and program enhancements
• Oversee maintenance, safety, and condition of the building and property 
• Liaise with school division personnel regarding building maintenance, repairs, concerns and goals
• Identify and prioritize building improvements, capital projects, and facility enhancements
