Full Description
Crestview School Children's Centre Inc. is searching for an ECE II or III to join our amazing team who has the passion and excitement for working with children ages 5-12. The ideal candidate would be willing to work 2-3 split shifts throughout each day and full time during in-services and school breaks. Someone who is looking to provide play based learning both in the classroom and outdoors in all weather. We are looking for someone who will be proficient in communication with families, and co-workers and encourage social development within the school age years.
The Ideal Candidate Is
- Punctual, reliable, dependable and flexible with the ability to work split shifts between the hours of 7:00 am-5:30 pm.
- Positive and friendly attitude.
- Experienced working in a school-age program.
- Experienced in implementing a play-based and emergent curriculum.
- Able to work in a flexible environment and adapt to changes.
- Able to work in a team setting
- Experienced in guiding children, supporting their emotions and positively guide them through any behaviours.
Credentials
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification Level C or willing to obtain within the first three months of employment.
- Must have ECE II or III Classification from a recognized college or university.
- Successful candidate must posses (within the last three months) or be willing to obtain a clear Police Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check.
Bonus if you have your Circle of Security training and Commit to Kids training completed.
