About Our Locations
Little Saints Learning Centre operates two primary sites in Old St. Vital.
Our St. Vital Road location is licensed for 48 children, including 16 infant spaces and 32 preschool spaces.
Our St. Mark’s Place location is licensed for 38 children, including 4 spaces for children under the age of two, 12 toddler spaces, and 22 preschool spaces.
In addition to our regular programming, we offer a Summer School Age Program, which operates off-site during July and August for children ages 6–12 years.
Position Details
This career opportunity is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, with payroll issued biweekly.
This is a 6-month term position, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible (A.S.A.P.). There may be a possibility of extension beyond the initial 6-month term, depending on program needs.
Employees must be available to work shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and must be willing to work at either location as needed.

The ideal candidate is someone who is:
- flexible, reliable and team-oriented
- demonstrates the ability to work independently with strong initiative
- exhibits a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities (communicates effectively with family members, staff and external stakeholders)
- possesses a working knowledge of licensing standards, policies and regulations
- maintains clear, accurate and well-written observation notes to document progress and achievements
- can adapt and modify programming to reflect a child's interests and promote engagement
- a deep understanding of early childhood development
- ECE II certification as recognized by ELCC
- First and CPR certification
- Circle of Security Training
- Commit to Kids Training
- Accessibility Training
- At Least 2 years of experience working in a child care setting
- A current criminal record and child abuse check within the last three months or a willingness to get.
