Essential Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Plan and implement engaging emergent, play-based learning experiences indoor and outdoor.
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible.
  • Would like to collaboratively curate a fun, inclusive play environment that honours children and families of all kinds.
  • Observe, document and support children’s development.
  • Broad knowledge of child-centered early learning curriculums.
  • Observe, implement and comply with Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care licensing requirements and centre policies.

What you bring to the table with you:

  • ECE II certification and classification through Manitoba standards.

  • Current First Aid Level C & AED.

  • Clear Criminal Record & Child Abuse Registry Checks (or willingness to obtain).

  • Accessibility Training and Commit to Kids Child Abuse Prevention Training Certification.

  • Knowledge of Circle of Security relationship based-practice (Or willing to obtain).
