Harstone Children's Centre has 6 locations in the west end!

Key Responsibilities;
- Assist in planning and implementing daily activities
- Provide compassionate, attentive care while ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes learning and development.
- Maintain a clean, organized and stimulating environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers.
- Be a supportive team member able to collaborate and work with other team members to achieve program goals.
**Candidates must be proficient in written and verbal English**
Candidates must have or obtain the following;
- Child Abuse (with vulnerable sector search) and Criminal Record Check
- Current First Aid/CPR
- ECE 2 Diploma with a minimum 2 years experience
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Commit to Kids Certificates (Part 1 & 2)
The Ideal Candidate Is
Someone who has a genuine love and passion for working with children and families.
Someone who can learn and adapt quickly to our program.
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Enjoys working in a supportive team environment
Has a minimum of 2 years experience as an ECE II
Has strong leadership skills
Has strong communication skills
Creative, outgoing and exudes positive energy
