Victoria Albert Daycare Inc. is currently seeking a Circle of Security passionate educator to work split shifts in our School Age Program.
We are licensed for 45 school age children and 20 preschool children.
We are located on a bus route, however, we do not have places to park (there may be parking available in paid lots); Please don't hold this against us as we have a lot to offer our educators and unfortunately parking is not as available as we'd like
We are a play-based program and use the Circle of Security principles to guide our days.
Position is a term based on a maternity leave and may be continued for the ideal candidate.
Position begins March 2, 2026 and continues until June 30, 2026.
Wage is $27.56/hour.

Trained in Circle of Security
Has completed, or willing to complete Accessibility Training
Has completed, or willing to complete Commit to Kids Training
Current First Aid/CPR C
ECE 2 Classification from Manitoba
Cleared Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search (within the past 3 months)
Cleared Child Abuse Registry Check (within the past 3 months)
Experience in a School Age Program is considered an asset
Willingness to work in our Preschool Program
Is available Monday-Friday for all split shifts between the hours of 6:45-5:45pm (example of a split shift is 7:00, 10:00, 11:15-1:15, 2:30-5:30-but not limited to). Straight shifts on school in-services and school breaks.
