Full Description
Springfield Learning Centres (SLC) is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator II (ECE II) to join our programs in Anola, Manitoba. This term position will provide coverage for maternity leave, with the potential for a permanent opportunity upon completion of the term.
The successful candidate will work with both preschool and school-aged children within a licensed program that provides care for 8 infants, 32 preschool children, and 45 school-aged children. Compensation is competitive and aligned with the Provincial Wage Grid, based on education and experience.
This position involves an 8-hour shift scheduled between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. SLC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid planning time for group leaders, a pension plan, sick leave, extended health benefits, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
In addition to direct program responsibilities, the successful candidate will prepare four-week attendance schedules, biweekly staff schedules, and manage daily staffing arrangements.

Eligible candidates must have or obtain the following;
- Early Childhood Education Classification Certificate II
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Clear Criminal Background and Child Abuse Registry Check (under vulnerable sector)
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel is an asset
- Experience is an asset
- Experience working with Staff Schedules and attendance is an asset
The position will be available July 06, 2026, for a minimum of 18 months. Possibility of continued employment after the term has been completed.
We are located approximately 40km east of Winnipeg so will require your own transportation.
