Little People’s Place Inc., located at 906 Cottonwood Road in the Windsor Park community of Winnipeg, is seeking a reliable and professional ECE II to join our amazing team of educators. We are a multicultural centre serving 150 children aged 18 months to 12 years. LPPI is committed to providing families with high-quality, inclusive care that values each child’s individuality and learning goals.

Position Details:

  • Full-time position, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday
  • One-hour lunch break (½ hour paid), with access to two staff room areas
  • Two full professional development days per year
  • Circle of Security training provided
  • Up to 12 sick days per year
  • Three weeks of vacation, accumulated after the first year

The Ideal Candidate Is

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Is classified in the Province of Manitoba as an Early Childhood Educator II.
  • Holds current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Can provide a clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search.
  • Can provide a clear Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Has completed the Commit to Kids online training.
  • Is professional, flexible, patient, nurturing, and kind, with a genuine passion for working with children. Appreciates a fast-paced, energetic environment.
  • Has experience working with children who require additional support (an asset).
  • Demonstrates strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Is able and willing to work collaboratively with centre management, families, and as part of a strong child-care team.
  • Has prior experience working with children aged 18 months to 5 years (essential).
  • Is available to work between 6:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. (centre operating hours).
