Full Description
Leila Day Care Centre is looking for a caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and reliable ECE 2 to fill a permanent position with full time hours.
We are located in Garden City area with a bus stop right outside our door.
The candidate must be able to work between the hours of 730am-5pm, this may include a split shift from time to time and will be determined based on the needs of the centre.
We are licensed for 71 children aged 12 months-12 years old and are open year round.

The Ideal Candidate Is
Candidates must have the following:
- ECE 2 certificate from Manitoba (will consider ECE in Training with at least 2 years experience in a childcare setting in Manitoba)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate Level C
- A clear Criminal Police Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) and Child Abuse checks...within the last 3 months.
- Excellent English written and oral skills
- Must have good problem solving skills
- Must be able to help and guide other staff
- Must have good knowledge of ELCC Best Practices and Regulations especially mixed ratios
- Punctual and reliable
- Must love working with children and supporting their development
- Must have knowledge in emergent, child-led practices working with children 12 months to 12 years old
- Must have at least 2 years experience working in a childcare setting
- Must be compassionate, caring, kind and patient
