Full Description
A valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and satisfactory drivers abstract.
Satisfactory Criminal record check with vulnerable sector search and child abuse registry check (no older that 3 months).
Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is an asset.
Mental Health First aid is considered an asset.
Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines regarding all clients, conversations, and referrals.
Must demonstrate strong work ethic and be reliable.
The Ideal Candidate Is
Early Childhood Educator level 2 classification required; a minimum of two (2) years related experience is preferred.
Candidates who self-identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit are encouraged to apply. Indigenous ancestry is considered an asset in recognition of the population served by the program.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of addictions and their impact on children, individuals, families, and communities.
Knowledge and appreciation of Indigenous histories, cultures, traditions, teachings and world views.
Demonstrated ability to build positive, respectful, and culturally safe relationship with children., families, and community partners.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion.
term position until May 2027, with possibility of extension
M-F 8:30-4:30
Salary $24.76
