The Cook prepares & serves healthy meals & snack that meet Canada's Food Guide standards, the centre's nutritional policies and that are age appropriate.

The role ensures that food handling & preparation meet Manitoba Public Health requirements while supporting a positive, welcoming mealtime environment mealtime environment for children & staff. 

What You'll Do: 

• plan & prepare nutritious meals & snacks that accommodate allergies, restrictions and cultural needs. 
• follow & update posted menus; maintain accurate food records.
• keep the kitchen clean, safe, and compliant with Public Health standards.
• Monitor inventory 
• collaborate with staff to coordinate mealtimes & support food-related learning activities
• participate in safety drills & maintain up-to-date Food Handler & First Aid certification.
