Full Description

The Rady JCC Kaufman Child Care Centre is looking to hire a Child Care Assistant for our after school program. This is a part time position from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. This position is at our main location at 123 Doncaster Street in River Heights. 

We are looking for an individual who is able to work as part of a friendly faculty of educators. Our school age program requires an individual that provides children with opportunities for creativity by planning activities for outdoor and indoor play in a child-inspired program.

The Ideal Candidate Is

The ideal candidate should indicate in their resume how they meet the following requirements:

  • Has a Manitoba CCA Certificate.
  • Clear and current Child Abuse and Criminal Record Checks within the last three months.
  • Current Emergency First Aid CPR-C
  • Knowledge in Reggio Amelia Approach principles or is eager to learn
  • Willingness to learn about the Jewish culture and traditions
  • Has a positive attitude and is willing to work cooperatively with a team of educators
  • Be nurturing and follows positive behaviour techniques 
  • Be familiar and understand ELCC’s Best Practices policies and procedure
