Child Care Assistant (CCA) – School Age Program (Split Shift)

Linden Meadows Child Care
Location: Linden Woods, Winnipeg, MB

Linden Meadows Child Care is looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Child Care Assistant (CCA) to join our School Age Program.

This is a split shift position working with children 6–12 years of age before, lunch and after school.

Responsibilities

  • Provide active supervision to ensure children's safety and well-being. 
  • Build positive relationships with children through play and meaningful interactions. 
  • Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities. 
  • Support Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) in daily programming. 
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment. 
  • Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere for all children and families. 

Qualifications

  • Child Care Assistant (CCA) classification 
  • Experience working with school-age children is an asset. 
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset. 
  • Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search 
  • Child Abuse Registry Check 
  • Commit to Kids (or willing obtain)
