Little Saints Learning Centre Inc. (LSLC), nestled in the heart of Old St Vital, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Child Care Assistant (CCA) to join our team for a 12-week Canada Summer Jobs position from June 8th through August 28th, 2026.
Little Saints operates two licensed child care centres serving 86 children (infant, toddler, and preschool) as well as a 45-space school-age summer program that runs through July and August.

The Ideal Candidate Is
Summer Student Criteria (has or is willing to obtain)
- Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Search) and Child Abuse Registry Check (within the last 3 months)
- Current First Aid/CPR - Level C
- CCA Certificate
- Commit to Kids Training
- Accessibility Training
- Additional Asset: Circle of Security Training
Candidates must also meet the following Canada Summer Jobs Criteria:
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the job
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
- this includes having a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) at the start of their job
