Full Description
Living Prairie Childcare Inc. is looking for child care assistants (CCAs) to work in our infant and preschool programs. We are located in the south end of Winnipeg, in the Sage Creek area.
We are a play based centre that focuses on using a combination of planned programming and emergent curriculum. Our classrooms run on enhanced ratios, with 8 children per infant room and 16 children per preschool room.
We offer full time permanent staff; 3 weeks of vacation, 8 personal days, health benefits through Blue Cross, group pension plan and competitive salary scale (starting at $19.97 per hour).
Must have or be willing to obtain for the position:
-Criminal Record Check
-Child Abuse Registry Check
-First Aid & CPR Training
-Online "Commit to Kids" Training
The Ideal Candidate Is
A successful candidate would be someone who has experience working with children under the age of 5 years old, be able to work collaborately and professionally with a team and be enthusiastic for a new adventure each day!
