Full Description

Children at the Centre which is the onsite Child Care Program located inside the Health Sciences Centre.  We require a CCA to work full time 37.50 hours per week in our Preschool Program.  This is a 4-5 week term position.  The term commences asap.  The rate of pay is $20.18 per hour.  

The Ideal Candidate Is

Eligible Candidates require the following:

  • a CCA certificate from ELCC
  • Current first aid &CPR
  • Current Criminal Record Check with vulnerable persons and Child Abuse Registry Check.
  • completed 40 hour child development course - would be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and oral.
  • Positive friendly attitude
  • Experience working in a child care program
  • Flexible and patient
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • The position is very physical.  Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, Able to bend, twist and crawl on the floor
  • Enjoy being outdoors in Winter
  • Able to follow instructions

  • Punctual and reliable
