Full Description

We are looking for a fun, energetic CCA to join our team at our Before & After Program located in Wayoata School. A great atmosphere with lots of opportunity to learn and grow.

  • Job Position: Child Care Assistant
  • Location: Before & After Program
  • Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours/week & extra hours on In service days
  • Full-time – Split Shift 
  • Start Date: January 26, 2026
  • Deadline: January 23, 2026

The Ideal Candidate Is

  • Ability to interact positively with children, families, staff & community members. 
  • To consistently supervise, plan and implement a variety of experiences for children.
  • Positive behavior management and leadership skills
  • Ability to use positive guidance techniques
  • Dedicated and energetic team player
  • Professional and responsible 
  • Ensure policy procedures and program needs are carried out. 
  • Punctual, flexible & reliable
  • Self-criminal record check and child abuse registry check an asset
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate an asset

  • Willingness to complete & obtain 40-hour course requirement
