Full-Time Child Care Assistant (CCA)

Location: Osborne Village | Type: Full-Time | Vibe: Nature-Based & High-Energy

Are you a passionate educator who loves the great outdoors as much as the classroom? Splash Early Learning Centre is growing! As a hands-on role model, you won’t just be supervising—you’ll be inspiring. You will:

  • Lead by Example: Implement a nature-based, emergent curriculum that is inclusive and holistic.
  • Be a Co-Creator: Collaboratively plan and document activities that spark children’s curiosity.
  • Foster Growth: Use positive guidance techniques to ensure every child feels safe, respected, and heard.
  • Stay Active: Embrace a physically active role in a clean, organized, and inviting learning space.

Who You Are

You are a reliable, honest, and friendly professional who thrives in a team environment.

The Essentials:

  • CCA Certification/Classification in Manitoba.
  • 2+ years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Completion of a 40-hour course and Commit to Kids training.
  • Current First Aid Level C & AED.
  • Clear Criminal Record & Child Abuse Registry checks (within the last 3 months).
  • A genuine love for nature-based, land-based learning!

Bonus Points for:

  • Circle of Security training.
  • Experience with emergent play-based curriculum.
