Child Care Assistant
Child Care Assistant
Full Description
Fairlane Children's Centre is seeking a Child Care Assistant to work full-time Monday to Friday who is available to work a 8 hour shift.
We are located in Assiniboia close to Portage Avenue and the Perimeter. Bus routes for both Portage Avenue and Ness Avenue are easily accessible.
Our Centre provides quality care for infants and preschool children aged 15 months to 6 years of age. We believe in inclusion and staff work with all children including children with differing abilities. We offer a play-based program. We believe children learn best through playing and interacting with others and their environment. Children learn and develop through manipulating and exploring their environment, by role-playing, and observing and listening to what is happening around them. This is why we provide lots of time for children to play each day. Our curriculum is a combination of planned and spontaneous learning experiences, a stimulating environment, and the fostering of relationships between children, staff, parents, families and the community.
Child Care Assistants work closely with ECEs to ensure the safety and well being of all the children and are an integral part of our team.
