Dawn and Dusk Before and After School Program is a 100-space licensed child care centre looking for a CCA to join our team. We are located in John de Graff School, in North Kildonan.

-wages starting at $19.40/hr (with 40hr course)

 

We are hiring for the following split shift position, beginning in September:

Monday-Friday

7:00am-9:00am AND 3:15pm-6:00pm (must be available for all shifts).

Full time hours available on inservice days, winter break, and spring break.

 

In addition to the above, we offer:

-paid professional development (paid time and workshop cost), including the annual MCCA Conference 

-split shift incentive (all employees receive 1/2 hr pay extra each day that a split shift is worked)

The Ideal Candidate Is

 

The ideal candidate has knowledge of child development, is responsible, reliable, and patient. They are quick thinking, creative, and have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).  They enjoy spending active time outdoors, and thrive in a fast paced work environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • have a current criminal record check and child abuse registry check
  • have the 40hr course requirement (or equivalent)
  • have Commit to Kids Training (or willing to obtain)
  • have Circle of Security Training (or willing to obtain)
  • have the ability to inspire children and fellow educators with their passion for early childhood education
  • have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • be committed to continuous learning
