Reporting to the Vice President, Child Care and Development, the Child Care Administrator plays a key role in supporting the effective operation of YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg child care programs by providing coordinated administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, reporting, and registration functions. The role ensures accurate documentation, timely reporting, and adherence to organizational policies and provincial child care regulations, while supporting child care leaders and staff with day-to-day administrative needs. Through collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to the Y’s mission and values, the Child Care Administrator contributes to a positive workplace culture and the delivery of high-quality, inclusive child care services.

The Ideal Candidate Is
- Experience in administrative support, HR coordination, or office administration
- Basic understanding of recruitment and onboarding processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High attention to detail when working with data
- Knowledge of child care operations or provincial regulations is an asset
- Ability to work 100% in person and travel between sites as required
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
