- Completive salary based on experience and qualifications

- 3 weeks holidays after the first year (moving to 4 weeks after 5 years).

The Ideal Candidate Is
Compassionate and enjoys working with both preschool and school-age children
Energetic and has the ability to organize both spontaneous and planned experiences for children.
Positive and fosters a inclusive learning environment.
Actively communicates and provides thoughtful responses with families and team members.
Views outdoor play as a vital learning environment for all children.
Be a supportive team member who is able to collaborate with other team members to achieve program goals.
Able to meet the physical demands of caring for young children including working an environment with stairs.
Candidates must have or obtain the following:
- Child Abuse (with Vulnerable Sector Search) and Criminal Record Check
- First Aid/CPR Level C
- Childcare Assistant Certificate
- Completion of a 40-hour course within the first year
- Experience in childcare is an asset
- Proficiency in written and verbal English
- Able to work Monday to Friday
- Able to work within Centre hours of 7:00 am- 5:30 am
