Prairie Nature Children’s Centre Inc. is a play-based, nature-based, inclusive child care center.
Do you love working with school age children? This is the position for you!
We are currently seeking a CCA, for our school age program, who will also spend some time in preschool. The successful CCA loves the great outdoors (in all seasons and types of weather) and has a pedagogical approach to working with children.

The Ideal Candidate Is
The successful applicant will be required to have:
- CCA Classification through MB ELCC
- Child Abuse Registry (current within 3 months)
- Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search (current within 3 months)
- Current First Aid/CPR-C
- Commit to Kids certificates
- Accessible Customer Service certificate
Assets:
- Previous work experience in a licensed MB center
- Experience working in a school age program
- Circle Of Security-8 week course
- Code of Ethics- 4 part series
- Strong social skills and ability to communicate effectively with children (COS), coworkers and families
- Confident and self motivated :)
- Flexibility & ability to adapt quickly to change
